Petcabs was established in 1986 and government licensed since commencement of business in 1986.
The company was born out of a need to transport our much-loved Dachshund bitch that was about to whelp to our local vet and needed transport.
In 1986 transport for owners and pets was non-existent and after extensive real time research we found a genuine need for a pet transportation service, and subsequently the Petcabs service was born.
A need for a Pet Transport service that would allow for pet owners to travel with their pets or even pets alone in the very safest conditions with trained personnel has become today the most copied service in the world.
Fortunately, there is only one Petcab service and we are right here in Melbourne.
